Event Overview
Care and share is annual event organized by CETOSUDE (Community Empowerment Towards Sustainable Development) in Tanzania.
The event is dedicated to fostering community spirit, raising awareness about important social issues, and supporting sustainable development initiatives.
This year, the event will take place on November and will feature a day full of inspirational talks, workshops, and community activities aimed at empowering individuals and organizations to make a positive impact in their communities.
The Care and Share Event will be held annually, starting in Moshi, Tanzania. Over time, we aim to expand the event to other regions. Each year, we will select a different orphanage to support, making sure our impact reaches as many children as possible and other in need After our initial launch, we aim to grow this initiative, reaching more people in need and building a stronger sense of community across Tanzania.

Care and Share Event A Resounding Success!
On November 3rd, 2024, CETOSUDE hosted the highly anticipated Care and Share Event, a day filled with hope, collaboration, and generosity. Held at KIDEP Foundation’s grounds, the event successfully brought together businesses, organizations, and individuals from across the community to support the vulnerable children who call KIDEP home.
The Impact We Created
The event exceeded all expectations, raising substantial funds to address the pressing needs of KIDEP Foundation, which provides shelter, education, and emotional support to 64 children. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of donors, sponsors, and participants, the foundation can now:
Secure better shelter for the children.
Ensure consistent access to nutritious meals.
Provide educational materials and tuition support.
Address overdue rent and improve the living environment for the children
A Day to Remember
Community Collaboration at Its Best
The event kicked off at 11:00 AM and carried on until midnight, with activities that delighted both young and old:
Live Performances: Local artists showcased their incredible talents, inspiring pride in the community.
Kids’ Entertainment: Games and activities kept the little ones engaged and joyful.
Music and Festivities: A local DJ kept the energy alive with music that had everyone on their feet.
Vendor Displays: Food, beverages, and local products brought vibrancy to the day, celebrating the community’s entrepreneurial spirit.
Donation Stations: Attendees contributed directly to the KIDEP Foundation, reflecting the spirit of giving back.
Professional photographers captured memorable moments, which have since been shared across CETOSUDE’s platforms to celebrate the event and inspire future participation.
This event underscored the power of collaboration. Businesses, NGOs, and individuals worked hand in hand, showing that unity can drive significant change. In addition to financial contributions, in-kind donations of resources and services played a critical role in the event’s success.

Building on the success of this year’s event, CETOSUDE is thrilled to announce that the Care and Share Event will return next year! Scheduled for November 2025, this event will once again be a 100% charity initiative to benefit children and other vulnerable groups/with various challenges

A 100% Charity Event:
We are proud to announce that all funds raised will go directly to support those who are in need . Unlike other events, this is a completely free-entry event, meaning anyone from
the community can participate without any financial barriers. The goal is to foster a spirit of
generosity and inclusivity, allowing everyone to take part in this worthy cause.
While some funds will be used to cover basic event logistics, the vast majority will be directed to
improving the lives of children and other Group in need.
No profits will be made from this event; every penny
is dedicated to giving back to the community.
