Event Overview
Care and share is annual event organized by CETOSUDE (Community Empowerment Towards Sustainable Development) in Tanzania.
The event is dedicated to fostering community spirit, raising awareness about important social issues, and supporting sustainable development initiatives.
This year, the event will take place on November and will feature a day full of inspirational talks, workshops, and community activities aimed at empowering individuals and organizations to make a positive impact in their communities.
The Care and Share Event will be held annually, starting in Moshi, Tanzania. Over time, we aim to expand the event to other regions. Each year, we will select a different orphanage to support, making sure our impact reaches as many children as possible and other in need After our initial launch, we aim to grow this initiative, reaching more people in need and building a stronger sense of community across Tanzania.

About Care and share event on 03/11/2024
The Care and Share Event, organized by CETOSUDE is a call to action for businesses, organizations, and individuals to come together and make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children. CETOSUDE is a non-profit organization focused on empowering communities across mainland Tanzania by fostering sustainable development and livelihoods.
This event is dedicated entirely to supporting the KIDEP Foundation, an organization that has been a lifeline for orphans and children in distress since its founding in 2017. Currently home to 64 children, KIDEP is facing serious challenges, including a lack of funding, inadequate shelter, and difficulty meeting essential needs like food, education, and rent. Through this charity event, we hope to raise enough funds to help KIDEP continue its noble mission of improving the lives of children in need.
We invite businesses, NGOs and community members to partner with us in this endeavor to uplift the most vulnerable among us.
Event Objectives
1. Support Vulnerable Children:
○ All proceeds from this event will be donated to the KIDEP Foundation to provide
essential resources like food, clothing, shelter, and education for children in need.
2. Foster Collaboration:
○ This event will bring together local businesses, organizations, and community
members, creating opportunities for networking and future partnerships.
3. Promote Local Talent:
○ Local artists will have a platform to showcase their talents, fostering community
pride and giving them visibility.
Care and share- Event Activities
The Care and Share Event will take place on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, from 11:00 AM to
midnight. The day will be filled with family-friendly activities, including:
● Live performances by local artists
● Kids’ entertainment and games
● Music by a local DJ
● Food and beverage vendors
● Non-food vendors showcasing local products
● Donation stations for those who want to contribute directly to the KIDEP Foundation
Professional photographers will be on-site to capture the highlights of the day, which will be
shared on our platforms to raise awareness and promote future events.
Care and share -Call to Action for Businesses
We cannot do this alone, and that’s why we are reaching out to local businesses and
organizations to help make this event a success. We are seeking:
● Financial contributions to help fund the event and maximize the donation to the KIDEP
Foundation.
● In-kind donations of products, services, or resources to help with event logistics.
● Vendor participation, with businesses showcasing their products or services to engage
with the community.
● Sponsorship opportunities to give businesses visibility while supporting a meaningful
cause.
By collaborating with us, your company will not only be contributing to a life-changing initiative
but also gaining positive exposure as a socially responsible organization. This event will provide
you with the opportunity to engage directly with the community, build brand awareness, and
form lasting connections.
A 100% Charity Event:
We are proud to announce that all funds raised will go directly to support the KIDEP
Foundation. Unlike other events, this is a completely free-entry event, meaning anyone from
the community can participate without any financial barriers. The goal is to foster a spirit of
generosity and inclusivity, allowing everyone to take part in this worthy cause.
While some funds will be used to cover basic event logistics, the vast majority will be directed to
improving the lives of children at KIDEP.
No profits will be made from this event; every penny
is dedicated to giving back to the community.
